Durham, Eddie
One of the pioneers of the use of the electric guitar in jazz, Eddie Durham was responsible for crafting some of the biggest hits for bands as diverse as Jimmy Lunceford, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and Glenn Miller. His original tune "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire" even became a pop hit.
