This easy, slow minor blues with an interlude is a catchy tune that musicians like to play and audience members always enjoy. A wide-open solo section has opportunities for alto, tenor, or bari saxes, trumpet, trombone and rhythm. After the first round of solos, there is a contrasting section that builds to a frenzy by adding solos one after the other on top of a repetitive melody played by the saxes. This chart sounds fantastic but it's easy to play - level 2-2 ½ with brass ranges of A5 for trumpets and G4 for trombones.
