In this chart, Eugene Marlow incorporates an intriguing array of rhythms and surprises. Commencing with a light cha cha enveloping an easy melody of alto 2, tenor 2, trumpet 3, and lead trombone. The arrangement builds with the restatement of the melody and a backbeat accentuated by interlacing horn lines. A trumpet solo in B minor segues into dueling trumpet solos over a rhumba double time groove. One chord throughout the solo changes affords the soloist the oportunity to display his/her creativity. The next section breaks into a bembe (6/8) variation of the melody over a marimba solo. Finally, the chart builds behind a soprano solo with explosive horns and woodwinds then settles into serene calmness. The various sections of the song create a sort of "mini suite" structure.
