Lennie Niehaus wrote a series of terrific arrangements for the Stan Kenton Orchestra (this was recorded on the 'Stage Door Swings' CD). This chart is a medium-swing version of a great Rodgers & Hammerstein tune. It features solo space for trumpet. Ranges are quite moderate (a couple of high Es for tpt. 1) for a Kenton chart. This swings like mad, and your band will surely love playing it.
