Got Rhythm? Tyler Mire gives us a swinging take on the chord changes from Gershwin's classic I Got Rhythm at a very accessible tempo of 174bpm. Solo space for trumpet and trombone, but this can be opened for any and all - a great teaching tool. A 32-bar sax soli is punctuated by the brass before a second solo space for guitar a/o piano. The ensemble then trades 2s with the drums - yet another solo opportunity - before returning to the bridge and shout section. Trumpet range is to written high C, trombone to F.
