Once again, Patty Darling "nails it." This wonderful and truly very exciting chart, based on a powerful half-mark time funk feel is, yet again, an amazing chart by this incredible composer. The solo features either (or both) piano or trumpet. As with most of Patty's music, the brass ranges are quite reasonable, making this a very playable chart. After building to a big, energetic ending, this version repeats that section for a shouting and exciting ending. If you're a Patty Darling fan (and who isn't?), you have to add this one to your big band library.
