Composed by Don Goodwin, Jr. for the Spokane Jazz Orchestra in honor of Bob Curnow, this very unique, interesting, and exciting piece is a thrill to play and hear. Don set some wonderful melodic thoughts in a medium tempo 5/4 meter that practically plays itself - it's that well done. There is solo space for piano and trumpet. The entire ensemble has an abbreviated chance to create a full band improvisation, a very exciting and fun thing to do. Sierra Music welcomes Don to its amazing list of composers and arrangers which has grown over the past 47 years to include most of the best known and admired musicians in the history of big bands.
