With first-hand knowledge, during a culinary adventure, my mother ventured into the realm of experimental baking, attempting a cheesecake recipe with tofu. The result? Let’s just say the taste and texture was... “funky”, to say the least.

Transitioning to the realm of music, this composition pays homage to the beloved funk rock horn bands such as Tower of Power, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Brothers Johnson, and more. It revolves around a lively duet between the Alto Sax and Trumpet, capturing the infectious groove of straight eighth funk.
