The groove is influenced by the Brecker Brothers with a bass line reminiscent of “Some Skunk Funk.” The melody for the A section is a smooth, lyric, ostinato-ish line in the tenors over a modal harmony while the B section is angular, adds the sopranos on the melody and is harmonically more diverse and complex. Written for and recorded by FOUR and the Richard Ingham Saxophone Quartet. Solos are in the FOUR tenor and Ingham alto.
