Don't let the title fool you - Tom Kubis' "The Path Yet Taken" is a bright and optimisitic samba. The melody is handled by a quartet of flute, trumpet, tenor sax, and trombone, and should have a very relaxed and easy-going feel to it. The shout section, on the other hand, really cooks and should have a nice punch to it. Solos changes are included for alto sax and trumpet.
