"Skylark" is a lush male vocal ballad from the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and it naturally makes use of Miller-voiced Saxes. The voicings and harmonic structure of this arrangement are simply stunning, and completely complement the crooning Vocal line. This is another quite superb transcription from Alan Glasscock which faithfully reproduces the original chart. Lead Alto is on Clarinet throughout, Alto 2 doubles Clarinet and Baritone doubles Alto. The Trumpet ranges are very modest, with the lead only reaching Bb5, making this chart playable by even moderate players.
