A relaxed swing in the style of the original Horace Silver recording. Lines and harmonic colors are featured throughout for the ensemble. Solos are for trumpet and tenor sax and could be expanded to include piano or guitar. The lead, on a challenging four-chorus sax soli based on the original trumpet solo played by Blue Mitchell, can be played by either alto 1 (soprano) or trumpet. Alto 1 doubles flute and soprano. Opt. trumpet 5.
