Edition: Jazz Big Band Arrangement with Vocal Group [SATTT]
Description: Swing - Medium Difficult
Publisher: Jazz Lines Publications
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" gets a swinging re-working courtesy of arranger Dave Wolpe. Written for the Glenn Miller Orchestra, it retains the tune's playful nature while giving it a Miller-style glow-up, with obligatory references to "Tuxedo Junction" and "Pennsylvania 6-5000" thrown in for good measure. The balance between the vocal ensemble and the horns during the melody is perfectly executed. This will surely be a memorable edition to your holiday concert.
