Mr. Ceroli was an American Jazz Drummer of the highest caliber originating from the Ohio Valley in the mid 20th century. He is perhaps most famous for his work with Herb Alpert's "Tijuana Brass" and Stan Kenton's Orchestra in the 1960s, and later countless studio sessions in Hollywood, CA.

"Rudimental Contest Solos" is a collection of 15 solos for snare drum in the tradition of rudimental contest drumming for which the Ohio Valley is famous. These pieces are suitable for the intermediate to advanced drummer and incorporate the 26 standard rudiments.
