I was the drummer on that album, 'Caliente, Muy Caliente' and Don really drove the band to new heights as well as helped me jump up a couple of levels in musicianship in a short period of time. The album got 5 stars from downbeat magazine, due in no small part to this arrangement of Cherokee.... SMOKIN' HOT!
