Description: Swing - Medium

Publisher: Jazz Lines Publications

Parade of the Wooden Soldiers (AKA Parade of the Tin Soldiers) was written by German composer Leon Jessel in 1897. Early notable recordings include the Orchestras of Vincent Lopez and Paul Whiteman. Since 1933 this song has been part of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Arranged in a lively swing style by Dave Wolpe, this features solo space for tenor saxophone, alto saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and piano.

This publication was prepared from the original set of parts used for the recording session - this is not a transcription.
