This Nelson Riddle arrangement begins with a reflective, quiet, colla voce duet between the vocalist and the guitarist. This relaxed verse section leads to the band entry with a four-bar introduction to the chorus. Your vocalist is supported by the band for the first chorus. The ensemble is allowed to shine for the first two A sections of the second chorus before the vocalist re-enters at the bridge to finish out the arrangement. The ending features a tag played three times before your bassist closes out the arrangement with a brief figure. Originally, Riddle intended for this arrangement to be closed out as a 'board fade' but the decision was made to have a firm ending and the bass player improvised an ending. His ending has been transcribed for this publication but your bass player is encouraged to improvise as well. There are no saxophone doubles and the vocal key is C.
