This impressive and challenging uptempo composition skillfully weaves unison and independent lines in the horns and features some challenging, exposed solo piano.

SOLOS: This is an excellent vehicle for exposing accomplished improvisers to irregular forms incorporating different kinds of harmonic devices. The first section is modal, while the second contains challenging chords over a pedal tone, and the short transition between the two sections is composed of II-Vs.
