Originally written for singer Sofia Rei and recorded by Sofia and the Felipe Salles Interconnections Ensemble on the 2023 album Home is Here. A challenging piece that rethinks Argentinean chacarera in 11/8 and features the ensemble in a soli section and an interlude. The saxophone section mostly plays woodwinds. Featured soloists: bass and soprano saxophone. It can be played with or without the voice soloist. No vibes version – use alternate part for piano.
