This chart pays tribute to the style of Neal Hefti's Li'l Darlin'. While the score shows the featured instrument as trumpet or flugelhorn 2, parts include an alternate trombone 2 part for the trombone feature, which is of course how Tony recorded it. Tony had written the chart so that the voicings behind solos would easily work without the Trbn 2 part and then trpt. 2 would then sit out most of the tune, playing only non-chords and no cues. Medium difficult.
