This medium tempo swinger from Tom Kubis features the trombone section on the melody's first statement. Said melody takes more than a few cues from Miles Davis's "So What," but with a bluesier edge. A change from D minor to C minor occurs during the shout section, with said shout and the final melody statement being separated by a brief piano solo. Look out for some tricky fingering figures in the trumpets and saxophones at times. Solo chords are included in the 3rd trombone part.
