AATB. This Tadd Dameron melody is mixed with Cole Porter’s “What is This Thing Called Love?” It opens with the first two bars used as a fugal theme. After all saxes enter, the melody returns intact and harmonized. Cole Porter’s melody overlays “Hot House” on the bridge. Bari and alto 2 bob and weave the first 8-bars of the solo section then the bari moves to a walking line while alto 1 and tenor comp. An original soli follows with the closing similar to the opening. Medium.
