This is a straight-forward swinger in a medium tempo two-beat feel with many characteristic call and response phrases. It's not hard to play, and it explains itself pretty well. Again, I am reminded of the evocative job that Jon Hendricks has done with lyrics to Horace's music, and his version of this piece is no exception. Listening to him sing the tune and associating it with his lyrics can bring a quick understanding of a way to express what is implicit in the melody.
