Felices para siempre may be translated to say “Happily Ever After.” This is an up-tempo mambo filled with excitement and vigor. The arrangement opens with a montuno followed by a somewhat lyrical melody in the soprano, then an a caballo interlude leading to descargas (solos) in alto and baritone. A moña-like section, or shout, with harmonized SAT against a bari counterpoint culminates the arrangement and leads us back to a recap of the soprano melody. Latin percussion parts are included, but the a cappella quartet can stand alone.
