Chick was one of jazz's all-time greats, a brilliant interpreter of the hard bop that dominated the 1960s, and later a giant figure in the development of fusion. Also excelling in the avante-garde and Latin jazz genres and deeply interested in classical as well, Corea was a true jazz Renaissance man.

We have here a set of eight of his tunes crafted by great arrangers like John LaBarbera, Michael Philip Mossman, Mark Taylor, and Mike Tomaro. It is an instant set of a wide variety of Corea's brilliant music, touching on Samba, Afro-Cuban, ballad, waltz, and swing styles, ranging from his early days through Return to Forever.
