Bring It On is a straight-ahead swinger that burns from the opening notes to the final chord. With a strong melody, a sizzling unison ensemble line and lots of full ensemble, this one will have the audience asking for more. And there’s plenty of room to feature your soloists as well. A must have chart for any library.

From the composer/arranger:

A great swing feel is the key to a successful performance of Bring It On. The tempo may be varied as desired to fit the group. It could be a little brighter or a little more down.
Please pay close attention to all articulation markings. They are important to the interpretation. When the unison lines happen, a little lighter treatment will pay big dividends.
Bar 67 may be opened up for solos as desired. The backgrounds may be cued, but bar 67 backgrounds should happen first time and then again with the backgrounds
coming out of the first ending. The last soloist should continue to bar 89. The shout chorus takes it out before we get one more look at the introduction.
