This chart commissioned by the Salt City Jazz Collectives is a Medium Swing tempo composition with rich harmonies. There is lots of full ensemble playing and several sections featuring the saxophone and brass section. There are two solo sections, one on the 3rd Trumpet part and one for Alto Saxophone. If you like, the Trumpet solo section can be opened up for several additional improvised solos. This chart is quite playable and fun. This is a great chart to teach line direction and harmonic balance. The Bass and Piano parts have written voiced chords and chord symbols.
