We've been hard at work for the last few months redesigning and rebuilding our website in an effort to provide an even better shopping experience! We now have improved features to enhance the music selection process, making you feel more comfortable with your purchases. Over the last few years, you've provided suggestions for improvement: we were listening and have taken your advice seriously. Here's a rundown on some of the enhancements and features that we've incorporated into our new website.

Downloadable Arrangements in .pdf Format

Without a doubt the number one request we've heard over the years is, "Are your arrangements available in .pdf format?" It is not an exaggeration to say we've heard that comment every day - and some days multiple times. Well, we're pleased to announce that starting soon hundreds of arrangements will be available electronically! We will be adding to our .pdf catalog daily and hope to have thousands available by the end of the year.

Wish List

The second most requested feature is the ability to save items for a future order. Our website now features a wish list function that allows you to select items and save them for future consideration. You'll be able to prioritize items in your wish list as well as include a reference note for each making your concert planning easier. In addition, by making your wish list 'public' a colleague will be able to search for your list and review the items, making collaboration on music selection that music easier.

Gift Certificates

We have also rebuilt the gift certificate section of our website. Jazz gift giving at holiday time – or any time of the year – is now more streamlined. Band boosters can easily create an account and give the gift of music to the school band they support. The recipient will receive an electronic gift certificate that is simple to redeem online.

Customer Reviews

Another question we often hear is, "Have you gotten feedback from other bandleaders on this chart?" Well, with our new customer review section you and your colleagues are able to post reviews that will help others in making their music selections. This information is invaluable when trying to program a concert. We'll be looking for some experts to share their wisdom and help steer others to great music!

Sound and Score Samples

Another comment we often receive pertains to our sound and score samples. We know how important being able to hear and see the music is to selection making. To this end, we've redesigned our page layout so those features are easy to find. In addition, we're working every day to add more of these samples.

Layout

With our new page layout it is simple to browse through music and easy to see all the info pertaining to each title including: full description, instrumentation, instrument ranges, sound samples, score samples, customer reviews, images, and other info.

Social Media Posting

See a composer or arrangement on our site that interests you? Share it! You now have the ability to easily share info about any title through FaceBook, Twitter, Google+, or by email. Sharing is the best way to start a dialogue on an arranger or a piece of music. And, there is no better way to spread the word than through social media outlets. The arrangers we work with rely on word of mouth to get their music heard and you can help!
