We are proud to announce the acquisition of Walrus Music Publishing and Otter Distributors! Danny and Adele Beher have been friends, colleagues, and generous customers of ours for years. After 27 years of running their music publishing and distribution businesses they decided it was time to retire. We are pleased to have been given the opportunity to acquire these businesses whose reputations in the jazz community are outstanding.

Walrus's mission has been to provide a home for independent arrangers whose work was all too often overlooked. Our mission has been to promote historic jazz music and simultaneously strive to provide to the jazz educator or bandleader the most complete source for arrangements and educational materials. As such, this was a perfect marriage of companies. We want to thank Danny and Adele for giving us the honor and the privilege of continuing to blaze the trail they have so artfully navigated for decades.

We also want to assure all of the educators, bandleaders, and students who have worked with Walrus Music Publishing and Otter Distributors that the quality and level of their services are being maintained without interruption. We will continue to work to grow into our title as the Global Source for Jazz. With the Walrus and Otter stable of arrangers, dealers, and customers now added to our burgeoning family of businesses, this labor of love shall continue its path in a stronger manner than ever before.
