Superblue was a short-lived all-star jazz combo that featured several of the top "young lions" in jazz in the late 1980s, including trumpeters Roy Hargrove and Wallace Roney, saxophonists Bobby Watson and Ralph Moore, and pianists Mulgrew Miller and Renee Rosnes. They recorded two albums, one in 1988 and one in 1989.
