Moody, James

Saxophonist James Moody was one of the titans of the bebop era. Aside from his long-standing association with bop scion Dizzy Gillespie, Moody led several of his own bands over the years. The most notable of these were his 1950s septet and the quartet he toured with for most of the final 20 years of his life.
