Sennett, Bob
Bob Sennett is very well-known on the Central Coast as a composer and an excellent musician. He moved to California in 1963 and began writing and performing for big bands, including Glenn Henry Orchestra and Santa Barbara City College, in addition to performing in bands backing Pat Suzuki and Jimmy Dean. Bob moved to San Luis Obispo in 1970 and eventually retired from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo so he could devote more time to composing and performing. In addition to playing baritone saxophone in the Royal Garden Swing Orchestra, he has performed with the Central Coast Swing Band and the Cuesta College Evening Jazz Band.
