Pianist Ray Bryant is one of the great unsung figures on his instrument. Born into a musical family, Bryant's performance credits over the years included stints with Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey, Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, and countless others. His brother Tommy was an accomplished bassist, and his nephews Kevin, Robin and Duane Eubanks are all currently prolific musicians in their own right.
